-- Dedicated July 1988This area is part of the National Ice Age Reserve. It has been set aside to protect forever the potholes and other geological features formed by water from the melting glaciers 10,000 years old.

marker is located on the grounds of Interstate Park (park of the
Wisconsin State Park system), at the Pothole Trail trail head.
The entrance to the park is at the intersection of Park Road and South
Vincent Street / Highway 35, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin 54024.
NOTE: The marker is inside the park; entrance to the park requires (1) an annual pass or (2) a day permit to access the marker. Click here for more fees information.
