disassembled and moved here by
two boys, Emaniel age 16 and his
brother Lawrence 17, in 1898.
Remodeled by
their son Clayton in 1941.

The marker is located at the "Cardy Site" and is accessible from westbound West Spruce Street, east of its intersection with South Hudson Avenue, at or near 322 West Spruce Street, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin 54235.
The "Cardy Site" is listed on the National Register of Historic Places: Wisconsin.
