A few of the nearly 100 veteran headstones at the Field of Honor . . .

"These Wisconsin warriors died in order to preserve our freedom.
Let us never forget their sacrifice."
These 126 metal crosses represent young people from Wisconsin who lost their lives in Afghanistan or Iraq. They were placed near the Field of Honor for Memorial Day 2016, and are part of a collaboration between students at Bay Port High School in Suamico and two local veterans, Ron Bredael and John Havey: Crosses to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice, by Kris Schuller, Channel 5 News
