The marker is located in Kettle Moraine State Forest - Lapham Peak Unit on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail, next to the Observation Tower, Delafield, Wisconsin 53018. 

NOTE: Enter the Kettle Moraine State Forest off of northbound Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive / County Highway C. The entrance is 3/4-mile south of I-94. Follow the unnamed paved road to where it ends at a parking lot. Then take the footpath to the Observation Tower. (See detailed map, below.)
