John Parman built this house in 1864.
Parman was born in Prussia in 1826
and came to this area in 1853 with
his wife, Louise Sievert Parman. In 1864,
Parman built a wagon and blacksmith shop
which still stands directly across
the street south of the house.

The John Parman House is located at or near 114 Crescent Street, and is accessible from northbound Crescent Street, between South State Street (to the north) and Cramer Street (to the south, Mazomanie, Wisconsin 53560.

The house went under water in the terrible flooding of August 2018.
The house is easy to see -- the bright red building
on the left at the beginning of the video clip.

The house and marker are located in Mazomanie, Wisconsin.
