The
Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Riverwalk is located along the Ice Age
National Scenic Trail, adjacent to the south bank of the Bark River, and
is accessible from a parking lot on the northwest corner of the intersection of Main Street and Dopkins Street, Delafield, Wisconsin 53018.
The Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Riverwalk is designed to help current and future generations of Waukesha County and Southeastern Wisconsin learn about and honor those who defended this country's freedom, through the creation of individual war memorials located on an ecologically sound walkway along the Bark River and through its wetlands. A gateway between local city parks, the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Riverwalk memorializes the efforts of our armed forces throughout history.Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (November 8, 2013): Day Out: Delafield riverwalk honors veterans of U.S. wars
