From this point due westward the first white settlers found a succession of Indian campsites. These camps were located near natural springs in the heavily wooded area north of the Waukesha Indian Trail.
The marker is affixed to the facade of one of the Miller Brewery buildings at Miller Valley and is accessible from westbound West State Street, between North 37th Street (to the east) and North 41st Street (to the west), at or near 4251 West State Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53208.
Look for the huge Miller logo to easily find the plaque.
