MEMORIAL BRIDGE
The Highway US 41 Bridge spanning the
Peshtigo River in the Twon of Peshtigo in the
County of Marinette has been designated as a
Memorial in honor and in recognition of
PFC Steven T. Drees who gave the ultimate
sacrifice for his Country on June 28, 2009,
during "Operation Freedon" in Afghanistan.
Dedicated by authority of Wisconsin Statue 84.10415
The marker is located on northbound Hale Road, at its intersection with Price Lane, Peshtigo, Wisconsin 54157.
NOTE: Not sure why the memorial is at this location and not at the location of the bridge.
