UTICA BASEBALL FIELD
Organized baseball in the Utica area started in the fields and pastures during the 1930S. Local men worked together with the Flom/Ladd farms to secure this space for a field to embrace baseball in Utica:
SHADY LAND BALL CLUB - EST. 1935.
The success of this field has been generously supported by the Utica Association and its many volunteers. With continued support, this field will carry on as a landmark for all to play, gather, and enjoy the beauty of rural southern Wisconsin.
In loving memory of
Lloyd T. Hanson & Lyle E. Hanson
