MILLS TRANSFER
in 1926, Ray and Jake Mills started Mills Transfer, Inc. The company transported beer, with routes between La Crosse & B.R.F. and other surrounding counties. Today, the company is still located on its original site. A former Ford-Studebaker dealership, with other branches in Southern Wis., Ohio, Georgia, New York, North Carolina & Illinois. Mills Transfer employs over 900 people. Today Bill & Bev. Mills and their sons Mike, Dave, Steve & Dan own * manage the growing business.
"We are proud of the Mills Transfer Company & its long history in Jackson County."

The mural is located on the west side of a building and is accessible from northbound North 1st Street, north of its intersection with Main Street / Wisconsin Highway 54, at or near 11 North 1st Street, Black River Falls, Wisconsin 54615.
