THE PLAIN GOOD BUILDING
OF CROSS PLAINS
Construction on this site began in 1854. Time
had reduced this building nearly to ruin
during 143 years of service to this community.
With great skill and uncompromising
attention to detail, it was completely
restored during the winter of 1997-1998 by
Maurice Mitchell Bertram
Master Craftsman.

The marker is located on westbound Main Street, between American Legion Drive (to the east) and Mill Street (to the west), at or near 1909 Main Street, Cross Plains, Wisconsin 53528.

This very small plaque is easy to miss!

The small plaque is mounted to the facade, in the lower left corner.

The whole town was torn up at the time of my visit.

The marker is located in Cross Plains, Wisconsin.
