Six Dreyfus brothers arrived in
Wisconsin from Bad Buchau,
Germany in May, 1847. Since then
family members have served this
state as Postmaster, Justice of
the Peace, School Board member,
State PTA President, Professor,
Chancellor, Corporate President,
County Executive Chief of Staff,
State Administrator of Children's
Services, District Attorney,
Circuit Court Judge, and Governor.
Dedicated 2000 A.D.

Lee Sherman Dreyfus is buried at Prairie Home Cemetery, located at 605 South Prairie Avenue, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53186.

NOTE: Governor is also a war veteran; he enlisted in the Navy after high school and served in the Pacific during World War II.
