First Catholic Church in Dane CountyBorn in Wilton, Tyrol Dec. 26, 1798. Came to Roxbury in 1845. Dane County's first resident Catholic priest. Labored in Dane, Iowa, Columbia, Dodge, Jefferson, Sauk, Waukesha counties. Repeatedly read Mass in the Assembly chamber of the Capitol, Madison.
