SPRING BROOK FOOTBRIDGE
Irvine Park Nature Trail Point of Interest
The original footbridge shown here spanned the spring brook during the early 1900’s The new bridge was constructed in 2010 by Nature Trail volunteers to closely resemble the earlier structure.
The marker is located adjacent to a parking lot at Irvine Park & Zoo, west of the Jefferson Street / Wisconsin Highway 124 entrance to the Park and across from the Picnic Pavilion at Irvine Park & Zoo, on an unnamed road, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin 54729.
NOTE: The Spring Brook Footbridge can be reached from the parking lot on the southwest side of the Irvine Park Bridge. Enter the park from Jefferson Street / Wisconsin Highway 124, cross over the Irvine Park Bridge, and the parking lot will be on your left. Use the GPS coordinates above to arrive at the marker's exact location.
