Photographed April 25, 2015
Wittenberg, Shawano County, Wisconsin
"Go Pack Go" was created by Carole Bersin and Alicia Rheal. They started this project with little or no football knowledge, and in the end, not only were they complete Packer Fans, they almost understood what a down was! . . . Arriving in Wittenberg on August 31st, their cars loaded up with supplies, Alicia and Carole began painting on the side of Hanke's Sentry Foods September 1st. Taking one week off in the middle to 'Go Fishing' the last brush stroke hit the wall October 14th just before the cold set in.
The mural is accessible from the west side of Hanke's Sentry Foods on northbound South Mission Street, just north of its intersection with East Front Street, at or near 101 South Mission Street, Wittenberg, Wisconsin 54499.

Walls of Wittenberg: Carole Bersin
Based in Minneapolis, Carole has worked both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other artists and communities throughout her career. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Minnesota after receiving her BFA from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Through the late 1980s and 90s, Carole's emphasis was on traditional hand-lettered signs, incorporating pictorial images whenever she could. While still continuing her sign work, the pictorials eventually won over and her main focus of commercial work has shifted more to original murals and custom artwork. In 2012, Carole launched Ragged Dog Walls, a business specializing in facilitating community mural projects!
