The Sun Prairie Water Tower,
also known as the
Columbus Street Water Tower,
was built by
Frank Stegerwald
and constructed in 1899
of stone, metal and wood.

Placed on the
National Register of Historic Places 2000

The water tower is located at a triangle in the roadway, at the intersections of Columbus Street, Cliff Street, and Church Street, Sun Prairie, Wisconsin 53590.

NOTE: The marker is located on the Cliff Street site of the tower.

The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places: Wisconsin: Dane County.
