A mighty power the
Packers would wield
when this gifted left guard
stepped onto the field.
So smart, quick and strong,
it wouldn't take long
for his opponents' fate to be sealed.
He's embraced life enthusiastically,
rising to meet challenges with
strength and dignity.
His doggged-determination
earned the love, respect & admiration
of his family, friends and
the pro-football community.
At Fyzzy's, an all-time
favorite stomping ground,
fun stories and other
spirits flow in the round.
Fans father here for a
"Sweep"ing journey back,
with the "heart and soul" of the Pack,
to Lombardi's "glory years"
and the dreamteams of Titletown.
To six world championship
victories Thurston can lay claim,
with three all-pro titles in hisname.
He's the dynamo of the dynasty,
the great number 63,
a legend in the history of the game.
