They told us, "We are going to have peace even if we have to fight for it." So we fought in the mountains on Heartbreak Ridge and washed ashore at Inchon.

We froze in the winter and baked in the summer sun.

At times, we were greatly outnumbered, but we still fought on and many of us gave our lives for Freedom . . . for Justice . . . and for Peace.
The memorial is located at Highland Memorial Park on southbound North Richmond Street / Wisconsin Highway 47, south of its intersection with West Capitol Drive, at 3131 North Richmond Street, Appleton, Wisconsin 54911.

NOTE: The entrance to Highland Memorial Park is south of the location of the memorial. The memorial is to the right, and easy to locate once you enter the park.
