All American Veterans
This memorial honors all American veterans who although separated by generations shared a common, undeniable goal to valiantly protect our country's freedoms.

The memories of these American veterans will continue to live on whenever and wherever democracy exists.

The American veteran – forever a symbol of heroism, sacrifice, loyalty and freedom.

The memorial is located in front of the Wood County Courthouse, and is accessible from northbound Market Street, north of its T-intersection with Avon Street, at or near 400 Market Street, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin 54495.

Wood County Veterans Memorial
Wood County's Veterans Memorial stands as a tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during war. What started as Jack Kahoun's effort to get diplomas for his classmates who served in World War II grew into something much bigger.
