 FORT HOWARD ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL LOG CABIN

Built in 1975-1976 by Charles Hatfield and the students of Fort Howard
Elementary, and refurbished in 2012 by Green Bay community
members under the leadership of James Hawyeard with
assistance from Bill Gordon and Green Bay Schools Facilities Staff.

The marker is located on the ground of Fort Howard Elementary School, at the northwest corner of the intersection of Dousman Street / U.S. 141 and North Chestnut Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin 54303.

Brown County Historical Society presented Fort Howard Elementary School Log Cabin with its 2012 Historic Preservation Award for Adaptive Reuse.
