Erected by John Flinn Post No. 77
G.A.R. May 27, 1898. Was at the
Capture of Mobile, New Orleans and
Vicksburg. Weight 980 lbs.

Memorial is located at Campbell Cemetery,  on Oak Street near its intersection with Palace Street, La Crosse, Wisconsin 54603. The above coordinates will take you the marker's exact location inside the cemetery.

The cemetery appears to be "abandoned"; the entrance is blocked with a rope. Park on Oak Street and walk up the hill on the washed out road. You will soon see the memorial to your left.

 Looking down the hill towards Oak Street;
park and Oak Street and walk up to the memorial.

It was quite a challenge to reach Campbell Cemetery the day of my visit
because of extensive road closures.
