THE SKAVLEM-WILLIAMS LOG CABIN

This structure of hand-hewn oak stood on the farm of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Williams. It was erected during the 1830's by Erick and Ragnhild Skavlem. It now stands as a visible reminder of the sacrifices made by early pioneers as they settled this area.

The marker and cabin are located at a small park on westbound Milwaukee Street (County Highway X), west of its intersection with Church Street (State Highway 140), Clinton, Wisconsin 53525.
